Ms. Rudek has a legal background in
environmental law and over 20 years experience as a senior environmental
analyst involved in the planning and implementation of remediation and
civil engineering projects for government and private clients. She has
expertise in the identification and integration of environmental and
waste management requirements into project activities and subcontracts;
property transactions; negotiation and resolution of environmental
issues; and monitoring and auditing of activities for compliance with
regulatory requirements. She is experienced in the preparation and review
of regulatory submittals (e.g., applications, notifications,
certifications, and plans) associated with the characterization, storage,
treatment, recycling, transportation, and disposal of radiological,
hazardous, mixed, asbestos, PCB, lead, universal, and solid waste.
For 15 years, Ms. Rudek
served as Project Environmental Lead on activities involving
contamination at federal facilities being investigated under federal and
state remediation authorities. She participated in the performance of
NEPA, CERCLA, and RCRA environmental assessments, engineering
evaluations, and remedial investigations. She was responsible for the
identification and integration of environmental and waste management
requirements into project activities and subcontracts and for monitoring
and auditing work activities for compliance with requirements. Her
activities included: the preparation of environmental compliance and
waste management plans governing the performance of activities and the
management of generated waste; the preparation of FFA compliance
documentation, including notifications, progress reports, and plans; and
the preparation and review of regulatory submittals (e.g., applications,
notifications, certifications, and plans) associated with the
characterization, removal, storage, treatment, discharge, transportation,
and disposal of radiological, hazardous, mixed, asbestos, PCB, lead,
universal, and solid wastes.
